Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SelfBench collects when you use https://self-bench.com and the SelfBench Pro API. It is short because we collect very little.
1. What stays in your browser
The calculators — including the cost calculator and the token estimator — run as JavaScript on your device. Text you paste into them is not transmitted to us, and we cannot see it. Results are computed locally.
2. What we collect when you only browse
Standard server logs for the web requests you make: IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp and response status. These are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and are retained for a limited period.
3. What we collect when you buy Pro
Your email address (as provided at checkout or to our payment provider) and the order identifiers needed to issue and validate an API key. Card details never reach us — Waffo Pancake, the Merchant of Record, collects and processes them.
4. What we collect when you use the API
The key used, the endpoint, the timestamp, the response status, and a counter for rate limiting. The API accepts numbers, not prompts, so no model input or output passes through us.
5. Cookies
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. A session may be maintained in server memory for the checkout flow; it is not used for tracking across sites.
6. Sharing
We share personal data only with the payment provider as needed to process a purchase and to comply with tax and accounting obligations, and with infrastructure providers that host the Service. We do not sell personal data.
7. Retention
API keys and order records are kept while your subscription is active and for as long as needed for accounting and dispute resolution. Request logs are kept for a limited operational window and then discarded.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion. Email <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Note that records we must keep for tax purposes cannot be deleted on request.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.
